I am from New Orleans and was raised on liver cheese sandwiches by my Grandmother. Always made on White Bunny Bread and plenty of Blue Plate didn't get any better than that as I recall. Up until her passing she always kept liver cheese in her refrigerator but she is as German as they came :). I eat a liver cheese sandwich every now and again in memory of her and reminisce of my childhood! Blue Plate is the best mayonnaise hands down!
